mouse problems wireless x3500

I put this thread up the other day about my X3500 playing up & it looks like someone has removed it, can you tell me why?

Just to confirm, the mouse stops working now & again, battery is good, if I remove the dongle as per instructions the mouse stops working, should I leave it in computor or store it in the mouse? if I leave it in the computor- should it be in line of site of the dongle?
