Good morning to whomever can help me.
I have recently purchased a HP Envy 700-074 Desktop computer (12/31/13) with Windows 8 and have had several issues with it (thankfully I have been able to resolve them myself so far).
I however, have been trying to install a new Huion H580 graphics tablet onto this computer. I go through the installation of the provided CD and after restart, attemp to plug in the tablet. I get an error that pops up in the lower right corner of the screen saying the driver malfunctioned and is not recognised.
I do not have another computer with Windows 8 on it to attempt installing this new device, but from doing some digging around and attempting a few things listed on HP's website (uninstalling USB drives then restarting the computer to reinstall them, which ultimately led to my whole system crashing, use of the recovery set brought me back to a fresh slate)(Granted I can't be sure that was the exact reason, or if it was bound to happen with this computer). I have found that I can get the program for the tablet to open very briefly, it flashes on the desktop screen, but shuts down so fast that it doesn't even pop up in task manager. I found also that the device is listed with a Code 43 and is being blocked from use, is there a setting I can change to allow this hardware to be used?
I really would like to be able to install this device as I am working on designs in Adobe programs, which are much easier with the graphic tablet.
I would greatly appreciate any help, I've already lost all designs I have previously made because I foolishly saved them to my desktop prior to the crash. (I also didn't have anything big enough to back my files up to, I will for sure be saving things to the cloud from here on out!)
Thank you to whomever can help!
